Unite KC is a collaborative
effort committed to
unite people,
unite neighborhoods,
and unite Kansas City.
WHO WE ARE
Born out of the conviction to fight evil with good, Unite KC focuses on action that transforms hearts, unites neighborhoods, and brings healing across the divides that hold us back — including racial healing.
WHY IT MATTERS
Grounded in Human Flourishing
We follow the six domains identified by Harvard's Human Flourishing Program — addressing the whole person in every region we serve.
OUR FOCUS ON COMMUNITIES
Five Regions of Impact
This fall, we'll conduct community exegesis for each region and host regional meetings with churches, faith-based organizations, businesses, and community leaders to promote racial justice and city flourishing.
- North of the River
- KCMO
- SE KCMO, Lee's Summit & Grandview
- Johnson County
- Wyandotte & Leavenworth Counties

WHAT IT TAKES
It takes generosity — from the entire city. It takes empathy for those who are less fortunate; we want all of Kansas City to flourish. It takes collaboration — the 2026 World Cup effort is one example. It takes churches and schools partnering on the city's Reading Initiative to stem the tide of generational poverty. And it takes us building new partnerships with key people in each region.
"Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."
— Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
